I hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer. It has been nice to have some time off to spend with family and friends. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful trip around Lake Michigan through Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula.

Beadle Lake has been a busy place all throughout the summer. Not only are we working on the inside of our building, getting it ready for school, but the outside is also undergoing drastic changes—even as I write this posting. The old roof is being torn off and a new one is going on. All our old parking lots and drives are gone and are now being readied for new asphalt and sidewalks.

We look forward to meeting the new families that will join Beadle Lake in September. Registration for new students and kindergartners start the week of August 18. Most days we will be here from 8 to 4 pm. On August 19, we will be in the building after 10:30 due to an in-service. On Thursday, August 21, registration will be from noon to 7 pm.

Letters from your children’s teachers will be also going out the week of August 18. Let me know if you have not received something by end of that week and we will get it to you.

School begins Tuesday, September 2 at 8:35 am. I am looking forward to seeing all the boys and girls then. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
