CALLING ALL WATCH D.O.G.S.
We are looking for parents to come into the school during recess and have fun with our students. Play games with them, interact with them and just have fun. Our kids love when parents come to visit.
If you have already signed up to be a Watch D.O.G. and filled out the volunteer form, please call the office and we will put you on the schedule. If you just have a day that works out, feel free to come on by. We would love to have you come and visit.
If you are interested in being a Watch D.O.G and have not signed up previously, we just need you to fill out a volunteer form and we will send it in for you.
We are excited about a wonderful Spring with many Watch D.O.G. visitors.
Sincerely,
Beadle Lake
Mindful March with Mrs. Ledbetter
Happy Mindful March BLE families and loved ones!
We are focusing this month on being intentionally aware of our emotions, feelings, and clues that our bodies give us to let us know how we are doing and what we need. By becoming more familiar with our triggers, we can be proactive in handling strong emotions in a safe and respectful way. Modeling for your kiddos how to do things such as: belly breathing, finger tracing, positive self-talk, and even choosing some fun cosmic kids yoga exercises to do at home on YouTube can be a fun way to work on being the best version of ourselves together!

MARCH IS READING MONTH 📚
Reading Month is in full swing! Our theme this month is Bringing a Community of Readers Together. Our students have been enjoying interactive read aloud, a book tasting station, and guest readers. These guest readers have included our superintendent, high school students, our mayor, a meteorologist, etc.! We are super excited to meet new people from the community. Also, our Read A Thon is in full swing. We have lots of participants. Finally, we have our Read and Create Night on March 14th at 6pm. Of course, continue to read to your children as much as possible. Building oral language and vocabulary is so important!!!! We want to create lifelong readers. See the positive effects of reading to your children below.
Happy Reading!
